HARVIE, George Walter Fairn

Age 69 of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away at home on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Born on September 26, 1950 in Windsor. He was the son of the late Dexter and Jean (Fairn) Harvie. It is with heavy hearts and great sense of loss that we announce the passing of our dear George. He was the only boy in the midst of five sisters so he was a special, spoiled boy and teased a lot by his sisters, but he was also their protector. George was a mechanic by trade and spent a couple of years working in Prince Rupert, B.C., where he met and married his sweetheart Karen. He was also the proud owner and operator of Windsor Vacuum. Predeceased by sister, Cheryl Harvie-Hiltz; and brothers-in-law, Dale Hiltz, Cecil Myles and John Walker. He will be sadly missed and forever loved. \"You finally made the list\". A private family graveside service will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport at a later date.
