    Age 95, formerly of Kentville, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019 in Haliburton Place, Windsor. Born on July 30, 1924 in Gaspereau Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Vera (Levy) MacInnis. Frena operated Harley Harvie Fuel Oil for Kentville and surrounding areas with her husband for many years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Harley; son-in-law, Robert Dale; sisters, Alicia Dauphinee and Verna Harvey; brothers, Ronald, Chesley, and Keith. There will be a private family burial service in the spring of 2020 in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill, Kings Co.

    HARVEY, Verna Evelyn

    Age 91, of New Minas, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Hantsport, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Vera (Levy) MacInnis. Although her life ended on Monday, in many ways the quality of her life ended on January 4, 1972 when her husband Ted passed away suddenly at the age of 46, a death from which Verna never recovered. After his death in Ottawa, Ont., Verna moved to Kentville to be close to her family. Verna would continue to be a homemaker and mother in Kentville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her sisters with whom she was very close. Besides her parents, Verna was predeceased by her husband, Ottis Frederick \'Ted\' Harvey; sister, Alicia Dauphinee; brothers, Ronald, Chesley and Keith MacInnis; her brothers-in-law, Harley Harvie and Burton Dauphinee and sisters-in-law, Olla MacInnis, June Ettinger and Marguerite Ettinger. At Verna’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a private family burial service in the spring.

    MacINNIS, Chesley Alfred — 81, of Hantsport, died Thursday, April 7,2011, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was a son of the late Alfred and Vera (Levy) MacInnis. Chesley worked for Canadian Keyes Fibre Company for 29 years. He was famous for his mince meat pies, he was an avid hunter, and was a lifelong Leafs fan. Besides his par­ents he was predeceased by his wife Jean (Cook); brother, Ronald; and sis­ter, Alicia. Cremation has already tak­en place. There will be a graveside service held on May 2, at 2 p.m. in Greenfield Cemetery.

    MacINNIS, Keith Allen

    Age 86 of Hantsport, passed away on November 25, 2018 in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Hantsport, he was the son of the late Alfred and Vera (Levy) MacInnis. Keith had many skills. He renovated his three homes. As well, he was talented in things as varied as model ship building and furniture refinishing. He had a love for the water and was proud that he sailed on the maiden voyage of the Gypsum Duchess in 1957. He also sailed all along the Eastern Seaboard, on the gypsum boats, as far south as Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. In his later years, he watched the boats sail in the Avon River from the window in his 'Recovery Room' at his home in Hants Border. He loved swimming in the 'medicinal' waters of the Avon River with his friends The Beach Boys. Before retiring in 1998, he was the janitor at Hantsport School. Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by infant daughter, Theresa Anne; sister, Alicia Dauphinee; brothers, Ronald and Chesley. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 28th, at 11 a.m. in the Wolfville Funeral Chapel.

    Age 75, of Hantsport, passed away peacefully Friday, February 3, 2017 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was a son of the late Ronald Sr. and Olla (Stewart) MacInnis.

    Ronnie loved fishing, hunting and just being in the woods. He enjoyed skeet shooting and was a member of the Annapolis Valley Shooting Sports Club. Ronnie was employed at CKF Inc, retiring after 45 years of service.

    Besides his parents, Ronnie was predeceased by his brother, Lennie.

    After all his years with a family of women, he was so happy to spend many wonderful hours with his great grandsons.

    A private family graveside interment service will be held. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, February 11, at 2:30 p.m. in the Hants Border Community Hall, 13893 Hwy 1, Hants Border.

    Karen spent her childhood years in Hantsport. Karen was employed at CKF for 41 years. She was an animal lover, and loved to curl up with a good book.

    Karen was predeceased by her loving parents Ronnie and Faye (Pitts) MacInnis.

    There will be a celebration of life held for Karen on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at the Lockhartville hall at 1-3. There will be snacks and refreshments. Family and friend’s welcome.
