    Notes:

    Died:
    MARSTERS, Robert Frederick \'Bob\'
Age 75 of Hantsport, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016, in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in Hantsport on February 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Frederick Davison Marsters and Laura Louise (Lane) Marsters. Bob took his education entirely at Hantsport School, with the exception of Grade XII which was taken at Windsor Academy, and even though he excelled in his studies, he was not particularly enthused with attending school. On completion of school, he attended a private business college in Windsor. Bob then joined H.R. Doane and Company (now Grant Thornton) and acquired his Chartered Accountant’s designation in the late 1960’s and served for many years in their offices in Windsor and Halifax, and in Saint John, N.B. In 1977 Bob returned to Hantsport and established his own public accounting practice, serving his clients in the area for well over 30 years, many of them becoming more like family than business clients. He was particularly interested in history, especially the history of Hantsport and the local area. Bob cherished his Canadian citizenship, but he was equally proud of his British heritage; he was a staunch supporter of the monarchy. Bob liked to garden and he loved animals, especially cats, many of them being strays or ones he adopted. Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0. Bob’s ashes will be buried in the Marsters family plot in Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport, at a later date.
