    Notes:

    Died:
    CAMPBELL (MacPherson), Myrtle Frances
Age 88, of Stanley, Hants Co., passed away peacefully in Melville Lodge, Halifax, on December 20, 2013. Born on October 29, 1925 and raised in Windsor, she was the youngest child of the late Alexander and Blanche (Herring) MacPherson. After graduating from Windsor Academy, Myrtle taught school for one year in Greenhill and then entered the Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing, New Glasgow, where she graduated in 1949 as a Registered Nurse. In 1950, she married W. Glen Campbell of Stanley and together they raised seven children. Myrtle was active in both church and community. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Women’s Institute, ACW, the alter guild of St. Stephen’s, the parish choir, and was a canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society. Her involvement in her community often reflected the interests and activities of her children - Sunday school, church youth groups, and 4-H. She was the anchor that held a busy, and often chaotic, household together. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Glen, in 2000, and siblings, Walter, Murray, Ralph, Owen, Elmer, Mildred Covert, Helen Noiles and Edith Forsyth. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Stephen’s Anglican Parish Cemetery, Stanley.
