    Notes:

    Died:
YOUNG (Warner) (Ellis), Boni Jean — 68, Hants Border, passed away July 18, 2012, in Kentville. Born in Windsor, on May 6th, 1944, she was the daughter of the late James Harold and Annie Isabell (Smith) Warner. Boni grew up in Hantsport around many friends and family. She enjoyed spending many summers with her friend Sharon in South Maitland where she learned to be a country girl. In her teen years she enjoyed swimming and diving. In 1964, Boni honoured Hantsport by being their Princess in the Apple Blossom Festival. She loved her home, excelled at home decorating and also designed and produced many pottery craft items. Eventually, as her children grew older she developed a keen interest in travel and became a registered travel agent. While in the travel industry, she worked at Gateway Travel in Windsor and Macdonald Chisholm in Wolfville, where she became highly successful as a respected agent and manager. This allowed her to fulfil her great love of adventuring to many foreign lands. Boni’s deep love of nature led her to an avid interest in nature photography. She enjoyed her all-too-brief time playing the clarinet with the New Horizons Band (Acadia). Anyone who knew her was immediately drawn by her laughter, her sense of humour and her joy of life. It was a chance meeting on New Year’s Eve that brought Boni into another chapter of her life. She spent the remaining years with her much beloved soulmate Butch. A funeral service will be held in St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Wolfville on Monday, July 23, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John J. MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery following the service.
