    ALLEY, Sylvia Joan ~ Age 83, of Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on September 16, 1937, in Overton, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late Samuel H. and Katherine H. (Rose) Stanwood. Sylvia was a member of Berwick Baptist Church, where she had been active in the W.W.S. Auxiliary. She and her late husband had been members of Dahlia Society of Nova Scotia. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward R. Alley. A graveside service took place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, in Berwick Cemetery, with Rev. Evan Colford officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to Berwick Baptist Church or to your favourite charity.

George attended Prince Andrew High School, Dartmouth, and was enrolled in the Heavy Mechanics course at Dartmouth Regional Vocational School. He had worked as a warehouse worker with Maritime Ontario. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Berwick Cemetery, Berwick, Kings Co.
