With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jana Frances Church, age 68, of Falmouth, on Tuesday, October 31,
2023, in the Windsor Elms Village, with family by her side.
Born August 31, 1955, in Wolfville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Jean Harvie.
Jana had a lifetime of love. Hardships became opportunities to show love and bring people together. She was a
mother to all, including her children’s friends, and dozens of foster children over the years who found safety and love
with her in their own difficult times. Her smile was infectious and her laugh heartfelt. She inspired a love of adventure
in her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed taking spontaneous little adventures, whether it was a trip to the
beach with her grandchildren, or sneaking her daughter out of elementary school to go skiing at Martock. She loved,
and was loved.

Besides her mother, she was predeceased by her brother George Harvie; and her sister Cheryl (Dale) Hiltz.

Interment will be in the Centre Falmouth Cemetery.
