    Died:
    FRASER, Kevin John Percy \'Joey\'

1953 - 2018, passed away in Westville on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Kevin was born in New Glasgow on May 25, 1953 and from the age of 14 was raised in Hantsport. He was a proud graduate of Acadia University where he first met his loving wife Anne. Kevin was the son of the late Marshall and Gladys (Higgins) Fraser. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Whit Whytewood, Robert Brunette; and his father-in-law, David Armstrong. Kevin was employed with Sodexo, where he spent the last 15 years at Saint Francis Xavier University as the General Manager of Food Services. Kevin was also a well-respected basketball referee who officiated every level from minor to international games. Kevin was the consummate people person. Known for his quick wit, booming laugh and knee-slapping, you always knew when he was in the room. He was happiest with Anne and Allie, walking the beach or sitting at the cottage surrounded by friends, family, and the dogs. There will be a celebration of life for Kevin on Friday, July 20th at 2 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 242 South Foord St., Stellarton, with Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Kevin can be made to the Hantsport Food Bank, P.O. Box 728, Hantsport, NS B0P 1P0; Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St., Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or charity of choice.
