    Richard Wayne "Ricky" Best, age 47, of Belleville, ON, formerly of West Brooklyn, passed away on May 7, 2023 in Belleville with his daughter by his side, after a brief illness. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of Debbie (Pinch) Best, of West Brooklyn and the late Leslie "Les" Best.

    Ricky worked as a drywaller for many years, both in Nova Scotia and Ontario. He enjoyed playing baseball with the West Brooklyn baseball team and was a league member of the West Brooklyn Community dart players. Above all, he enjoyed family time, especially with his daughter, who was the love of his life.

    Besides his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Florence and Gilbert Pinch; paternal grandparents, Gladys Veinot and Norman Best; and brother, Mitch Noseworthy.

    A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9 in West Brooklyn Cemetery, West Brooklyn. Reverend Barb Cochran officiating.
