- JODREY, Morley Charles
Age 101, of Gaspereau, Kings Co., passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born in Greenfield Mountain, he was a son of the late Charles and Evelyn (Levy) Jodrey. He began work at a very young age for his uncle, R.A. Jodrey, building the power dam system from Gaspereau Lakes to White Rock. He then took on his second career working for Western Plumbing and Heating. He was a part-time apple farmer and supplied apples to stores in Halifax and Dartmouth. A Liberal at heart, who hosted many social functions for the cause! He was a loving family man who enjoyed hosting family reunions every summer in his backyard where he demonstrated his amazing cooking skills. His grandchildren will always treasure these memories. He and his wife, Viola, were members of the \'Globe Trotters\' and travelled the world together. He was a member of the Wolfville Coffee Club for over 35 years. His stories will be greatly missed. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his wife, Viola (Millett); brothers, Roy, Harley, Joe and Carroll; sisters, Beulah and Blanche.
