Marilyn was a tireless worker in her community, especially for Kempt United Baptist Church and Summerville Volunteer Fire Department since its inception. She was well-known for her dedication, her determination, her guidance, and her devotion to her family, who were the jewels in her crown. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 11, at 2 p.m. in Kempt United Baptist Church, Summerville, Lic. Betty Parker officiating with a private family burial in Loyal Hill Cemetery, Summerville, followed by a reception in Summerville Fire Hall.
