      Age 86 of Avonport, Kings Co., passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born on February 6, 1931, in Wolfville, he was a son of the late Nathan and Dorothy (England) Myles. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald, Stanley, Robert, Budd, Keith \'Mickey\' and Cecil; sisters, Betty and Hilda. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation, by request. A service, officiated by Rev. Gary Manthorne, followed by a reception, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, at 1021 Bluff Rd., Avonport. This is the lighthouse property of his nephew, Raye Myles where he enjoyed many wonderful times camping, watching the sunsets and the breathtaking view of the Avon River and Minas Basin.
