- LYTTLE , Myrtle Marguerite 'Rita' — 97, of Hantsport , Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 30, 2011, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. Born on September 13, 1914, in Woodville, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Forrest) Davison and had lived in Ashdale for many years before moving to Hantsport in 1951. Rita worked as a cook for many years for her father in Mill Camps and after moving to Hantsport, she worked at Johnson’s Candy Factory. She had a great love for animals, and you could see her walking every day her little dog \'Freddie\', who was her great joy. She was very active in St. James United Church, was a life member of the UCW, and had started a church group called 'Drop In'. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Roland \'Rollie\' Charles Lyttle in 1999; son-in-law, Claude Schofield; sisters, Annie Dearman, Laura Sisson; brothers, Arthur, Harold, Howard, John, and George. Burial will be in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
