  	POIRIER, Anna Catherine — 79, Hantsport, passed away Sunday, De­cember 23, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hant­sport, she was a daughter of the late Malcolm and Lela (Starratt) McNeil. Anna studied at the Maritime Busi­ness College, graduating as a secreta­ry. She later worked for the base com­mander at CFB Greenwood. Anna taught swimming lessons in both Greenwood and Hantsport. She was a member of St. Mary’s Ladies Guild and also taught religious education. Anna loved to spend time gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John McNeil. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 67 Main St., Hantsport, Rev. Father Michael Walsh officiating. Private interment will be held in Riverbank Cemetery, Hant­sport.
