      Age 79, of Hantsport, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, with her family by her side. Born in Three Mile Plains, Hants Co., she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Jessie (Harvie) MacDonald. Maureen was known for her delicious homemade pies, egg tarts, bread and rolls. She also loved to read and knit socks and mittens. Having visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was one of her favourite ways to pass time. She was a strong-willed woman who had her own opinions and spoke her mind. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Blaine and sister in infancy, Joy.
