Ernie was a beloved husband, devoted father and proud grandfather. Born on October 20th, 1937, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Ralph and Wilma (Fletcher) Spencer. As a child he loved to play hockey, chase after his sister, build boats, and peddle fish to R. A. Jodrey. Throughout his youth he was a member of the sea cadets, worked at the Candy Factory, on the gypsum boats, and at the Board Mill. He enjoyed 51 years of selling automobiles at Pothier Motors, retiring in 2007. His life was filled with family and friends. He enjoyed wheelin\' and dealin\' with his lil buddies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and their visits were always entertaining. Along with his parents, Ralph and Wilma (Fletcher) Spencer; he was predeceased by his son, Bruce (1998). We will all miss the twinkle in his blue eyes.
