She along with her husband owned and operated for many years, the General Store and Post Office in Lockhartville, and previously worked for Wilbur & Shirley Starrett, Avonport. Besides her parents, James and Ida (Barron) Graham; Mabel was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Russell (1989); sisters, Vivian in infancy and Nellie Loomer; brothers-in-law, Roscoe Loomer; Ralph, Claude, and Burnell Schofield; son-in-law, Peter Skelhorn.
