	AULENBACK (Hiltz), Gaylan Joanne It is with saddened hearts that the family of Gaylan Aulenback announces her passing on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Hants Community Hospital in Windsor. Born in Digby on June 7, 1937, and raised in Mahone Bay, Gaylan was the only child of the late Keith and Etoile Hiltz. Gaylan began her married life to husband Orren in Halifax, but they later settled in Hantsport to raise their family. Forever the caregiver, Gaylan’s heart was her family. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife and mother, and was especially proud of being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
