    • CREIGHTON, Charles Jacob (Jake) - 81, Dartmouth, died March 2, 1995, at home. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Paul Henry and Leda (Johnson) Creighton. He was owner of the family business Creighton's Ltd., retiring in 1991 and had been president of the National Food Brokers Association. He had been very active within his community during his lifetime, including various charities such as the VON, Heart and Stroke Club, Dartmouth, and Dartmouth General Hospital. He was very active in curling circles locally and nationally. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Ruth Cousins; second wife, the former Claire Cameron; sister, Kathleen Chapman. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in St. James United Church, Dartmouth, Rev. Glenn MacLean officiating. Burial to follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Dartmouth. Family flowers only. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Victorian Order of Nurses or Dr. Helen Creighton Foundation.
