- Smith Homer The marriage of Beatrice Mary, daughter of the late P. Homer, and of Mrs. Homer, of Valois, Que., to Mr. George Randall Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Smith, of Hantsport Nova Scotia, took place on Saturday afternoon, June 17, at four o'clock in the Church of the Resurrection, Valois, the Rev. H. Coffin officiating. Mr. R. H. 1 Beckett played the wedding music, and Mrs. A. Sutter sang during the signing of the register. fc The bride was given away by her uncle, Mr. C. N. Rudge, and was attended by her cousin. Miss Evelyn Rudge, as maid of honor, and by her little niece, Miss Audrey Devereux, as flower-girL Mr. W. J. Devereux, brother-in-law of the bride, acted as best man, and the ushers were Mr. J. Abbott and Mr. S. Cooke. . A reception followed the ceremony and Mr. and Mrs. Smith later left for the Laurentians. They will reside in Moncton, N.B. The out-of-town guests Included Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Smith, parents of the bridegroom, and Mrs. H. McIvor, the bridegroom's sister, all of Hantsport.
