    • BRUCE, Flossie Eva — 76, of Mel­vern Square, passed away, Monday, August 29, 2011, in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Gaspe­reau, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Harvey) McInnis. For many years Flossie worked as a cook at the B&D Car Hop, Soldiers Memo­rial Hospital and the Aurora Inn. She also did household cleaning, working up until a couple of years ago. Flossie enjoyed bowling and going to bingo. She loved her family dearly, especial­ly all her grandchildren. Besides her par­ents, she was predeceased by her sis­ters, Leta Mayo, Beatrice Pack, Audrey Leighton, Vera Clowry and brother, Gilbert.
