Born in Hantsport on February 15, 1941, he was the son of the late Frederick Davison Marsters and Laura Louise (Lane) Marsters. Bob took his education entirely at Hantsport School, with the exception of Grade XII which was taken at Windsor Academy, and even though he excelled in his studies, he was not particularly enthused with attending school.
