ROCKWELL (Boyd), Carolyn Rebecca

Age 44, of Hantsport, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 13, 2018. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Larry Boyd. Carolyn graduated from King’s County Academy in 1992, subsequently studying French at Laval University. She graduated from CompuCollege with Honours in 1998 and received a certificate in Local Government Financial Administration from Dalhousie University in 2017. She has worked for the Town of Windsor for the past seven years recently in the capacity of Accounting Assistant. Carolyn was a devoted mother and encouraged her boys to enjoy life as much as she did. She was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Committed to a job which she loved, she was appreciated by everyone in return. She embraced a wide circle of friends with her great sense of humour and a large laugh straight from her heart.

BOYD, Larry Owen — 66, of Kent­ville, passed away at home on Friday, December 17, 2010. Born in Three Mile Plains, he was a son of the late Ar­thur and Ruth (Cox) Boyd. Larry re­tired in 2006 after 32 years of teaching at New Minas Elementary School. His previous employment included serv­ing with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Dupont Nylon of Kingston, Ont., and working at the Federal Peni­tentiary in Dorchester. Besides his par­ents, he was predeceased by brother, Garth; and sister, Rosita Brown. Burial will take place at a later date in Westcock Cemetery, Westcock, N.B.
