SMITH, Irving Wilson — Mount Den­son, Hants Co., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at home five days before his 82nd birthday. He farmed the family’s century farm \'Chestnut Square\'. He was the fourth generation of Smiths to work this farm settled by the Aca­dians and bought by the Smith family in 1822. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. He had a keen sense of community and family history that dated back many genera­tions. He was predeceased by his mother, the former Mary K. (Scott) Smith (Windsor) and father, Alfred D. Smith; brothers, Alyne D. Smith, To­ronto, Ont.; James P. Smith, Mount Denson; his extended family; his com­mon- law partner, Rebecca G. Zwicker. Burial will be in Mount Denson Cemetery, Rev. Bill Gibson will conduct a graveside service Sat­urday, July 10 at 4 p.m.
