    Quentin "Que" Christopher Redden, age 54, of Windsor, formerly of Windsor Forks, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the Q.E. II Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax.

    Born on June 25, 1964, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of Elva Martha (Saulnier) Redden, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, and the late Ellis William Redden.

    Quentin was an electrician by trade and had worked at the Halifax Shipyards, for several years. He had previously worked with Do It Right Landscaping. Que, as he was known was involved for many years with the Windsor Royal Junior “B” Hockey team. He was also very involved over the years with the Windsor Knight’s and the Hantsport Shamrock’s baseball teams. Que also loved country music.

    Besides his father, Ellis (2012); he was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Perry, and her husband, William; nephew, Daniel Arnold.

    Interment in the Windsor Forks Community Cemetery, Highway 14, Windsor Forks.

    REDDEN, Ellis William — 82, of Windsor Forks, Hants Co., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, May 4, 2012, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on March 6, 1930, in Windsor Forks, Hants Co., he was a son of the late Fred and Margaret (Benedict) Redden. Ellis worked in Halifax before moving to Windsor Forks and worked in Wind­sor, where he became a well-known Pharmacist. He was a member of St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Windsor Forks. Ellis was a member of the Nova Scotia Trappers Association, West Hants Wildlife Federation and West Hants Ground Search and Rescue. Prede­ceased by daughter, Carolyn Perry (2007); sisters, Roselind, Stella, Jean, Nita, Anna, and Doris; brothers, Aubrey and Gerald 'Buck'. Interment will be in Windsor Forks Community Cemetery. Dona­tions in memory may be made to St. Michaels Anglican Church, Windsor Forks Community Cemetery Associ­ation or Hants Community Hospital.

    Ellis married Elva Martha Saulnier. Elva (daughter of Alcide Saulnier and Amanda Ethel Fields) was born on 26 May 1932 in Hantsport, Hants, Nova Scotia; died on 29 Sep 2021 in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, Hants, Nova Scotia; was buried in Windsor Forks Cemetery, Hants, Nova Scotia.     Elva Martha Redden, – age 89 years of Windsor (formerly of Windsor Forks), passed away suddenly at the Dykeland Lodge on September 29, 2021.

    Born in Hantsport, NS on May 26, 1932; she was a daughter to the late Alcide and Amanda (Fields) Saulnier.

    Predeceased by her husband Ellis; daughter Carolyn Perry; son Quentin Redden; grandson Daniel Arnold; brother Joseph (Dorothy) Saulnier and sister Kathleen.

    In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Windsor Forks Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, donations made to Dykeland Lodge and St. Michael’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.

    PINCH, Amanda Ethel - 92, Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, formerly of Pleasant Street, Hantsport, passed away Sunday, March 30, 1997 at the Lodge. Born in Avonport, Kings County, she was the daughter of the Fred and Caroline (Henwood) Fields. She had been a resident of Dykeland Lodge for over 10 years. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her first husband, Elcide Saulnier, second husband Edward Pinch; five sisters, Annie, Sweet, Laura Gates, Florence Barkhouse, Mary Colby, Frances Margenson; one brother, Joseph (Pat) Fields; one step-son, Gordon Pinch; one step-daughter, Dorothy Zwicker. Burial will follow in the Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport.
