    Notes:

    Died:
    FULLER, Jean Gwendolyn
Age 90, of Avonport, passed away peacefully into the next life, with her family at her side, on Friday, February 9, 2018, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor, she was the only daughter of Dr. Karl and Mrs. Louise (MacKeen) Dimock. She attended Edgehill School for Girls and graduated with highest honors. She went on to pursue a B.A., a B.Ed., and a Master’s in English Literature. In 1959 she came back to Canada and began her teaching career at Windsor Regional High School, where she met and married widower Royce Fuller. She then continued her teaching vocation at L.E. Shaw Elementary School in Avonport for 23 years. It was always a pleasure for her to see how many of her students continued to remember her fondly, with cards and letters, decades after she had retired. In her spare time, Gwen enjoyed her lawn and gardens, books and music. After Royce passed away in 1998, Gwen lived with her son, Gordon Fuller, in the farmhouse in Avonport until she moved to Wolfville Nursing Home, just before her 89th birthday. Gordon was a loving and attentive companion for all those years, enabling her to remain for so long in the house and near the gardens that she loved. She loved her family deeply and never ceased to pray for the health and well-being of all its members, which included her 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Royce Fuller; her brother, John Dimock; her stepsons, John and Peter Fuller; and by her great-grandson, Liam. Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
