Born in 1950 in Digby to the late Joseph and Doris (Brooks) Peters. Besides his parents, Bernie was predeceased by brothers, Glen and Lester. Bernard worked for Irving Paper for 30 years retiring in 2006 and was a member of Glooscap First Nations in Hantsport. He was a cherished and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.
