CLOWRY (Miner), Thelma Adelia —
80, Hantsport, formerly of Bishopville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 12, 2011, in Halifax. Born in Wallbrook, she was a daughter of the late Bret and Pearl (Brown) Miner. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her strength and spirit will live on forever. She enjoyed being around family, especially while camping or hosting family gatherings and family suppers. She loved playing cards with her sisters and friends. Thelma enjoyed her regular Monday night bingo with Shirley. With kindness she reached out to her community and surrounding communities, always with a helping hand. You always knew she would be there without a doubt. Thelma was first and foremost a homemaker. She had worked at CKF in Hantsport and later owned and operated Avon Autumn Custom Framing. Besides her parents, Thelma was predeceased by brothers, Jack, Roy, Tom, Jake and sister, Lova Morine. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 15 in Bishopville Cemetery with Rev. Dan Jamer officiating.
